Jannie Creekmore Jamison, 93, passed away at home December 30, 2017.

Her husband of 58 years, Leon, preceded her in death in 2005.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and Louis Katopodis, daughters Jamie Jamison and Carol Conn, grandsons Judd Katopodis and Nathaniel Mutka, great grand-daughters, Addisyn and Kate Katopodis, her brother, Doyle Creekmore, nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Jannie grew up in Goose Creek and Baytown and graduated from Robert E Lee in 1942.

She graduated as a Registered Nurse from Jeff Davis...

Jannie grew up in Goose Creek and Baytown and graduated from Robert E Lee in 1942.

She graduated as a Registered Nurse from Jeff Davis School of Nursing in 1946. Jannie practiced nursing for over 40 years in Tulsa and Houston. She was Orthopedic and Neurosurgery Coordinator at St Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She worked at Heights Hospital and Memorial Hospital in Houston in Surgery and Labor and Delivery. She loved the profession and only quit when she was needed at home to take care of her ill husband. Jannie was a dedicated Christian and a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.

Graveside services will be January 9, 2018, at 10:00 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, 281-783-6591. A celebration of her life will follow at 11:00 at Good Shepherd Methodist Church at 20155 Cypresswood Dr, in the Fairfield Subdivision. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.
