Kenneth Allen Miozza, 57, of Beaumont, Texas, was received into the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, the 26th of August 2017, surrounded by loving family and friends.

Ken was born on the 23rd of September, 1959, in Seattle, Washington, to Juliet and Everett Miozza. He graduated from high school in Windsor, Connecticut in 1977. He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1981.

Kenneth Allen Miozza, 57, of Beaumont, Texas, was received into the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, the 26th of August 2017, surrounded by loving family and friends.

Ken was born on the 23rd of September, 1959, in Seattle, Washington, to Juliet and Everett Miozza. He graduated from high school in Windsor, Connecticut in 1977. He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1981.

Upon graduation, Ken worked for Union Carbide in West Virginia, Florida, and Texas for nine years. He continued his career as a corrosion engineer at Shell Chemical in Deer Park, Texas. He then worked for Motiva Enterprises in Port Arthur, Texas, until his retirement in 2016. His career spanned 26 years with Shell and Motiva.

Ken was a member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers. He was a member of The International Society for Aviation Photography. He had a passion for aviation photography and enjoyed traveling to many airfields around the United States for opportunities to explore and photograph a wide variety of aircraft. He also enjoyed music and the performing arts.

Ken met his wife, Crystal Ann Muchaw, in 2005. They were married in 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and made their home in Beaumont, Texas.

Ken is survived by his devoted wife, Crystal, as well as his aunts, uncles and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juliet and Everett Miozza of Ormond Beach, Florida.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, the 13th of September, 2017, from five o'clock until eight o'clock in the evening at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home at 12800 Westheimer Road.

A service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 14th of September, 2017, at St. Cyril of Alexandria Catholic Church at 10503 Westheimer Road. The internment will follow immediately at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery at 12800 Westheimer Road.

In lieu of customary remembrances, tributes in his memory may be made to St. Cyril of Alexandria Catholic Church, 10503 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77042.
