Kenneth Robert Simpkins, 62, passed away on March 27th, 2015 in Cypress, Texas after a strong fight with cancer, in his loving home surrounded by family.
Ken was born March 5th, 1953 in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he met his loving wife Ursula Simpkins of 39 years.
He is survived by his three children, Douglas and wife Melissa, Ryan, and Jennifer, brother Donald, and grandchildren Elissa, Emily, and Rebecca.

Kenneth Robert Simpkins, 62, passed away on March 27th, 2015 in Cypress, Texas after a strong fight with cancer, in his loving home surrounded by family.
Ken was born March 5th, 1953 in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he met his loving wife Ursula Simpkins of 39 years.
He is survived by his three children, Douglas and wife Melissa, Ryan, and Jennifer, brother Donald, and grandchildren Elissa, Emily, and Rebecca.
Since the beginning of his career, Ken emerged as a natural leader, mentor, and manager of different oil service groups. He served the oilfield for over 40 years. He will be remembered for his keen sense of humor and ability to make everyone laugh.
In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, spending weekends at his lake house, and endlessly expanding his knowledge by reading technical subjects.

Viewing services will be held Monday, March 30th, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Graveside services to follow in Colorado Springs, Colorado on April 2nd at Evergreen National Cemetery.
