Robbie Nell Wood-Fulton, 90, passed away on January 7, 2018. She was born in Bogata, Texas on April 13, 1927 to Earl and Louise Wood. As a young girl in San Angelo, Texas Robbie enjoyed horseback riding and spending time with her friends. In 1945, Robbie graduated from San Angelo High School. She married James H. ("Pete") Fulton and were happily married for 56 years. Robbie had a career as a bank teller for Chemical Bank in Houston during the late 1960s and throughout the 1970s.

Robbie Nell Wood-Fulton, 90, passed away on January 7, 2018. She was born in Bogata, Texas on April 13, 1927 to Earl and Louise Wood. As a young girl in San Angelo, Texas Robbie enjoyed horseback riding and spending time with her friends. In 1945, Robbie graduated from San Angelo High School. She married James H. ("Pete") Fulton and were happily married for 56 years. Robbie had a career as a bank teller for Chemical Bank in Houston during the late 1960s and throughout the 1970s.

She had a life-long love for animals and supported numerous animal welfare organizations. She enjoyed spending time with her family, including her daughter, Jan, her grandson, Warren, and her great-granddaughter, Pearl. She loved music and enjoyed playing the organ and piano, listening to classic country, Elvis and gospel music. Additionally, she enjoyed tending to her yard and garden, especially her azaleas.

She was preceded by her husband James H. ("Pete") Fulton, father, Earl Wood; her mother, Louise Wood; and her brother, Duane Wood; all of San Angelo, Texas.

She is survived by her daughter Jan Fulton of Austin, Texas; grandson, Warren Becht of Houston and great-granddaughter, Pearl Becht of Houston.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all those who were close to Robbie in recent months and years, and who helped care for her, including her daughter-in-law, Trudi Becht, and her long-time friends, Diane Galligan and Judy Brashear.
